Clark Johnson is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in the coatings industry.
An expert business-to-business marketer, Clark honed
his marketing and sales skills at top-flight companies like Sherwin Williams and H.B. Fuller. His
industry knowledge, field experience, and passion for paint give him special insight into the challenges
customers face when choosing a finishing contractor. Clark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial
Technology from Northern Illinois University.
Tom Kumpu
Area Manager
Tom has been in the coatings industry for more than 30 years.
He started his career as an apprentice painter and worked his way to a senior level, becoming a team leader.
His finishing work can
be found in some of Chicagoland's most prestigious companies and homes. Tom enjoys
working with customers-designers, homeowners, facility managers, and building engineers. With a keen eye for
finishing and years of experience under his belt, Tom knows how to meet clients' needs.
Bruce Kuhn
Area Manager
Bruce, a finishing industry pro, worked as a journeyman painter for more than 25 years.
He completed a rigorous apprenticeship at the Joint Apprenticeship Training Center and studied to be a
painting instructor. He has a unique understanding of the requirements of municipalities, since he is
also a code enforcement official and inspector in the Chicago suburb of Harwood Heights. In his job at
the FCAC, Bruce determines customers' needs, helping them match their projects to the right contractor.
